Outstanding Athletes Honored at Fall Sports Awards Assembly

The Upper School honored our many outstanding athletes at a Fall Sports Awards Assembly on Friday, November 17. This ceremony celebrated successful seasons - full of great memories – for our field hockey, sailing, soccer, x-country, and volleyball teams. As Coach Colley noted, “Our goals are for each student-athlete to become better as a player, better as a team, and to respect the game.” Our Fall Eagles Athletes accomplished all three goals.

To open the awards ceremony, the ninth through twelfth grade student body gave a round of applause to our Equestrian team for a great fall. This team competes year-round and will be honored in the spring. The Sailing team was also recognized for winning second place out of 18 teams in the Championships this year. Another highlight of the assembly was a celebration of Indian Creek’s first ever Volleyball team.

Individual Athletic Awards were given in three categories: Most Improved Player, Players' Choice, and Most Outstanding Player.
