Indian Creek Lacrosse Players Michael Troese '18 and Sam Homick '18 Make College Commitments on Signing Day

Two Indian Creek School Eagles Lacrosse players have made college commitments. Seniors Michael Troese (defense), and Sam Homick (midfield) will be continuing their lacrosse careers at the collegiate level.

Michael Troese has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Division II Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fl. Troese, a starter on defense since his sophomore year, earned All-MIAA C Conference honors, and Capital-Gazette Second Team All-County as a junior in 2017. Troese picked up 100 groundballs and added a goal and five assists last season for the Eagles.

Sam Homick will attend Division III Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va. In 2017, Homick earned All MIAA C Conference for the second time in his career, and was also named Capital-Gazette Second Team All-County. Homick tallied 40 goals and 24 assists, while picking up 100 groundballs and winning 71 of 127 faceoffs.
