Life in a Drop of Water Lab

Third grade S.T.E.M. lab brought the world of microbes to life for Indian Creek third grade students, as they gathered water samples from the Evergreen Campus pond and inspected them under the microscope. The students learned that microscopic organisms can be found in every body of water, including lakes, ponds, streams, and puddles. Examination of water under a microscope uncovers a whole new world that is invisible to the human eye. The children were amazed to see all of the life that exists in a tiny little drop of water.
