Five RBI Day for Pratt Keeps Eagles Playoff Run Alive

ICS Junior Nicholas Pratt was an RBI machine on Wednesday, driving in five on two hits to lead the Eagles  past Friends 11-1. Pratt drove in runs on a home run in the first and a grand slam in the third.

Indian Creek got things started in the first inning, when Pratt hit a solo homer. The victory was secured thanks to eight runs in the third inning. Patrick Smith '23 and Pratt powered the big inning with RBIs.

Jacob Cresanto '24 earned the win at the mound for Indian Creek. The fireballer lasted three innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out three and walking zero. Joe Emery '25 and Xavier Quigley '24 both entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

The Eagles tallied four home runs on the day. Pratt had a four bagger in the first and third innings. Quigley had a homer in the first inning. Smith went yard in the third inning. Pratt went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Eagles in hits.

This win was notable as the Eagles didn't commit a single error. The win keeps the team's playoff run moving forward. The Eagles next play against St. John's at McCurdy Field in an elimination game on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
