"Kids in Court" Day Gives Upper School Students Insight into the Judicial Process

On Thursday, March 24, 25 Upper School students traveled to the District Court of Maryland for a morning in court organized by Judge (and ICS parent) Shaem Spencer. Students also heard from Chief Judge (and ICS parent) John Morrissey. The students got to experience live court cases and hear first-person accounts of experiences in the legal system and around decision making. Thank you to Judges Spencer and Morrissey, and to our AP Government teachers Tom Sheppard and Tonya Montgomery for providing the experience to our students.
