Loved Ones Honored at Día de los Muertos Celebration

Indian Creek Lower and Middle School students celebrated the traditional Mexican holiday of Día de los Muertos earlier this month.  This multi-day holiday is intended to be a joyful celebration of friends and family members who have died.  ICS students brought photos of departed loved ones to school and shared stories and memories with their classmates.  These loved ones were honored on Día de los Muertos displays throughout the school.  Thank you to Sra. Vazquez for creating this celebration and to Trustee Kerry MacKenzie for providing beautiful flowers for the displays.
