Four Scholar Athletes Celebrated on National Letter of Intent Signing Day
On November 10, 2021, which is National Letter of Intent (NLI) Day for Division I and II athletics, Indian Creek School celebrated four scholar athletes who will continue their athletic careers in college: Laila Ivey, will play Division 1 Volleyball at University of Maryland College Park, Sarah Martin, will join the Division 1 Rowing team at Rutgers University, Will Mercer will play Division 2 Lacrosse at Wingate University, and Mia Putzi, Division 1 Lacrosse at Lafayette College.
The students signed their commitments in the ICS College Counseling Suite, cheered on by family, teachers, and friends. They were then honored by the entire student body at the morning Upper School Assembly.
