Eagles Score 3 Goals in 3 Minutes to Top Beth Tfiloh 8-7

After trailing 3-5 at halftime,  the Indian Creek Varsity Girls Lacrosse team scored the last three goals of the game to prevail over a very talented Beth Tfiloh team at Indian Creek on Thursday, April 8.  After utilizing a time out with three minutes to go in the game, the Eagles took over to score the final three goals, two by Mia Putzi '22 and one from Calli Schwerdtfeger '21, along with a tremendous steal by Megan Bunker '21 with a minute to go to put the game away.  Freshman Elia Alewine was spectacular in the goal with 11 saves. She benefitted from the support of a strong defense led by seniors Janeiyah Cajudoy and Cameron Ramsey.

Indian Creek was lead on offense by Bunker (3 goals 2 assists), Putzi (2 goals and 2 assists) and the all around play of Schwerdtfeger (2 goals).  Also chipping was Kallie Huff '21 (1 goal, 1 assist), Molly Bunker '24 (1 assist), Abby Bach '23 (1 assist) and defender Cajudoy (1 assist).
 
The Eagles play Pallotti next on Wednesday, April 14, 4:30 p.m. at Indian Creek.  Go CREEK!
