Mini Cranberry Bogs Bring Fun to Kindergarten

Part of the winter season in Kindergarten at ICS involves an in-depth study into a favorite seasonal fruit: the cranberry.  This year, Ms. Derrick and Ms. deBorja shared this favorite unit with the Class of 2033 in a physically-distant, but still fun morning.  The class started the day by reading children's book "Time for Cranberries," by Lisl H. Detlefsen.  The students then participated in a variety of STEAM activities using the berries.  The favorite part of the day for all was when the students all got to build their own individual cranberry bogs!
