College Application Season in Full Swing for Class of 2021
The Class of 2021 is navigating the changing world of college admissions with their hallmark motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm. Seniors have actively engaged in college admission visits over Teams from mid-September throughout the fall. Indian Creek School College Counseling has hosted 87 virtual visits with admission officers from a wide variety of colleges and universities, with one more scheduled for next week.
While seniors continue to research colleges through virtual visits and online college fairs, many in the Class of 2021 have already applied to several schools. College application deadlines start as early as October and run until the summer after senior year, so students still have time to add schools to their lists.
The numbers below illustrate how our senior are moving forward in their pursuit of their dreams of attending college. We are very proud of the ICS Class of 2021!

Class of 2021 has already received 25 acceptances at this early date, with more coming each day.
College Counselors Maggie Melson and Ruthie Shrum work closely with each senior and their families throughout the college search and application process. Online college counseling conversations allow students the opportunity to apply to colleges with guidance from their College Counselor, and you can see the shared excitement in these pictures.
