Pre-K Pollinators Take Bee Studies Outside

On Monday, April 7, Indian Creek Pre-K4 students took advantage of the beautiful day with some outdoor adventures! This week, the students are learning about the important role that bees play in helping our planet thrive. Through their exploration of bees the students are learning that bees aren’t scary, but very important! During Monday's activity, students embarked on a Pollinator’s Scavenger Hunt where they took a nature walk and look for different signs of pollination. Students also participated in a Nectar Relay, where they moved “nectar” from one spot to another, just like bees help move pollen between flowers. This activity was a fun way to enjoy nature and learn about the important role of bees.
