County Executive Steuart Pittman and former County Executive Janet Owens Visit Indian Creek

Former County Executive (and ICS grandparent and alumni parent) Janet Owens and current County Executive Steuart Pittman visited campus on Tuesday, February 25. The two local dignitaries met with students to learn more about Indian Creek's campus unification plan, and to hear why bringing our School together on one campus is important to the Creek community and Anne Arundel County.

Mrs. Owens and Mr. Pittman enjoyed viewing the building plans for our new Lower School building and learning more about the project. Mr. Pittman, who has founded the Retired Racehorse Project and was named Humane Horseman of the Year in June by the Humane Society of the United States, also connected with the three-time Championship ICS Equestrian team during his visit. The group bonded over their shared love for horses.

Thank you Mrs. Owens and Mr. Pittman for your thoughtful and inspiring visit.
