Aaron Colley '20 Completes Firefighter Training to join Company 28 VFD

Congratulations to Indian Creek senior Aaron Colley, who became a member of Company 28 (Odenton) Volunteer Fire Department in February. Aaron successfully completed the Firefighter I course in December by passing a written and practical midterm and final exam. The 108 hour course was a combination of  classroom and hands-on training. Through his studies, Aaron learned about building structures, forced entry, search and rescue, pulling and charging lines, and car fires, among other topics.  Aaron is currently enrolled in Hazardous Materials Operations, which is 36 hours of training. Once he has passed the HAZMAT course and a CPR class, he will be cleared to ride and respond to calls with the company. Congratulations to Aaron on this incredible achievement!
