Classes of 2029 and 2030 Mesmerized by San Jose Taiko Drummers
ICS second and third grade students enjoyed a mesmerizing performance of the San Jose Taiko Japanese drummers at Bowie Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, February 25. San Jose Taiko has been around since 1973 inspiring audiences and captivating their attention through Japanese drumming and dance. The children loved hearing the fervor that the drums created together, and were especially impressed by the large instruments. A few Creekers were invited on stage to actively participate during a high action demonstration.
