"To Tell the Truth: The Real Harriet Tubman" Presented by Third Grade

Will the real Harriet Tubman please stand up?

The third grade class introduced the Lower School to this american hero last Friday, by presenting a Reader's Theater skit called "To Tell the Truth:Harriet Tubman" at the Lower School Assembly. This skit, modeled after a 1950s retro television game show, consisted of four contestants who all claimed to be Harriett Tubman.  Through a series of questions, the third grade panelists had to determine which of the contestants is telling the truth, thus identifying the real Harriet Tubman.  The children enjoyed presenting this Reader's Theater production, as a  great thinking, reading, writing, speaking and listening experience for the third graders and their audience!
