Julia Leavitt '23 Reaches US Figure Skating Milestone

Congratulations to Indian Creek freshman Julia Leavitt, who recently passed her United States Figure Skating Juvenile Moves in the Field Test before a panel of three USFS judges. "Moves in the field" is the name given to elements of figure skating that emphasize skating skill and edge control. The juvenile level is the fourth of 8 levels a skater needs to pass in order to achieve the highest accomplishment in testing, passing the senior or gold test. Skaters who achieve that goal earn the title "U.S. Figure Skating gold medalist." With this most recent success, Julia is well on her way!
