Melody Kinzer '21 Named Junior Ambassador of Hope

Indian Creek congratulates junior Melody Kinzer, who was recently named a ”Junior Ambassador of Hope” in recognition of her efforts over the last two years to support Handbags of Hope Across America. This organization works to collect and distribute handbags and toiletries to women escaping domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Last year, Melody collected 62 gently used handbags in one week! This year, Melody outdid herself, collecting 108 handbags along with bags of toiletries to donate in three weeks.  When the HHAA Executive Director asked her why she collected donations, Melody responded, ”I like to help those in need.”  Congratulations to Melody on this well-deserved recognition of her wonderful work.
