Lower School Students Honor Veterans

On Friday, November 8, Indian Creek Lower School students invited friends and family members who have served in the Armed Forces to come to school to be honored at a special Veterans Day Assembly. The students planned a special morning for their guests, which began with a processional of the American Flag. The event was filled with music, words of thanks, student speeches, and a walk through the Evergreen Cmapus Hall of Heroes. The Hall of Heroes was decorated with hand-made stars commemorating loved ones who have served near and far. Lower School Music Teacher Ms. Blind and Lower School Head Mrs. Malachowski introduced each guest at the assembly, as their student hosts beamed with pride. Thank you to all of our Veterans who were able to attend the Lower School Veterans Day assembly, and everyone who has served our country. Click here to view a full gallery of photos.
