Huzzah for our CREEK Volunteers!

Huge thanks go out to our heroic Creek volunteers: Pam Cann, Bobby Chambers ’98, Jamie Cook, Lynann Derrick, Alex Eller, Lula Ivey, Sandy Lesikar, Jason Medley, Kris Morrissey, Jen Navabi, Brian Seidleck, Greer Spicer, Eli Tobin, Varsity Boys Soccer Coach Jonathan Burns, Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Ciaran Lesikar, Athletic Trainer and Associate Athletic Director Ron Turner!

The Creek community is grateful to each of them for giving so generously of their time and enthusiasm to volunteer at the Renaissance Festival last Saturday. Together, we raised $6,898.63 through tips and wages - remarkable! The funds raised will impact all student athletes grades six through 12 and enhance the total experience of playing a sport at Indian Creek School.

We believe this is the most we have ever raised during the 14 years in which Jules Smith, parent of two ICS alumni and owner of the Renaissance Festival, has provided ICS with this unique opportunity to raise funds for our Athletic Program.

How did our volunteers feel about their impact?

Eli Tobin exclaimed “WOW...that is great we raised so much for the Athletic Dept at ICS through Ren Fest. I had a great time getting to know other parents working our booth. We ROCKED!!!! It was such a great experience for my first ICS volunteer event!”

Brian Seidleck, second year Ren Fest volunteer, said “I was glad to help. It is a long day, but well worth the payout for ICS! I am looking forward to next year!”
