2018-19 Upper School Awards Ceremony Honors 'Arete:' The Pursuit of Excellence

On Thursday, May 30, the Grades 9-12 student body and faculty gathered in the Jack and Nancy Becker Center for Performing Arts to honor outstanding student achievement throughout the 2018-19 school year. Upper School Head Gerry Connolly opened the ceremony by describing the Greek concept of 'arete,' or the pursuit of excellence. The Upper School Awards ceremony served as proof that Indian Creek students demonstrate arete in all aspects of their lives.  Congratulations to all of the 2018-19 award winners. (*Students are seniors unless their graduation year is included.)
