Upper Level World Language Students Study at National Gallery

Upper level French and Spanish students joined together to tour the National Gallery of Art and see firsthand the works of a variety of artists.  The French III and IV classes focused on studying the works of modern artists and revisited some of the impressionist work that they had previously visited.  They then created their own gouaches in the style of Matisse and are currently writing poetry about them. AP Spanish and Spanish 5 students focused on the works of Picasso and the various periods of his art. Indian Creek students are fortunate to have the opportunity to visit these national treasures during the school day!
