Varsity Baseball Defeats Chapelgate 6-1

On Monday, March 25, the defending MIAA C Conference Champion Indian Creek varsity baseball team travelled to Marriottsville, Maryland, to take on the Hornets of Chapelgate Christian Academy, prevailing by a score of 6-1. Junior Jordan Cann pitched a complete game, giving up four hits and one earned run, while striking out 11.  Junior Maurice Miller-Elder led the Eagles at the plate going 2-4 with two doubles and scoring two runs. Cann also had a good day at the plate as he went 1-2 and had 4 RBIs. Travis Garnett '21 had a hit, an RBI, and scored a run, while Alex Seidleck '21 walked twice and scored both times. The Eagles are now 1-0 in league play and 2-2 overall.
