Shaun Gerety '20 Named Capital Gazette Athlete of the Week
Gerety led the Eagles to a pair of wins last week by recording six saves in a win over Concordia Prep and 28 in a win over AACS. He’s stopped 68 percent of the shots he faced through the first three games of the season.
“Shaun has done a great job this season stopping the ball and making the difficult save when we need him to,” coach Jason Werner said. “What stood out in his 28-save performance was not just the tough saves in close, but also how he is running our defense and getting that unit to force opponents to areas of the field where they are giving up savable shots.”
