Mr. Larson Represents United States in World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup in Hong Kong

Indian Creek History teacher and Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach Jesse Larson really appreciated this Wednesday's snow day. Mr. Larson spent the long weekend in Hong Kong, where he represented the United States on the Men's Over 40 US Indoor Field Hockey team at the 2019 World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup. The US Team played eight games in four days and finished in sixth place (in the world!) Mr. Larson's team had close games with Australia, England, Canada, and Hong Kong. "It was pretty great," shared Mr. Larson. "The city of Hong Kong is a financial and shipping hub so the skyline is over the top in terms of lights and sheer number of skyscrapers. They still have lots of open air markets, good restaurants, and lovely public parks (vestiges of the Victorian age)." The World Cup experience made Mr. Larson's 27 hour trip worthwhile. Congratulations to Mr. Larson on this incredible achievement!
