Varsity Girls Basketball Wins IAAM Quarterfinal vs. Beth Tfiloh

The girls varsity basketball team won the first round of the IAAM playoffs at home on Wednesday, February 13, beating Beth Tfiloh 53-24. After jumping out to a 33-4 halftime lead the Eagles coasted in the second half to bring home the victory. Senior captain Maddy Evans led all scorers with 22 points. Sophomore Megan Bunker chopped in 16 points. Friday night at 5 pm, the Eagles will take on Bryn Mawr in the conference semifinals for a berth into the championship game. Last month, the Eagles beat Bryn Mawr by 5, in a tight, back and forth game. Come out and support the girls in what is sure to be an exciting game!
