7/8 Girls Basketball Team Ends Season with 32-13 Win over Severn

The Grades 7 & 8 Girls Basketball team ended their season with an awesome victory against Severn School on Tuesday, February 5. Indian Creek took the lead from the beginning of the game and didn't let up, keeping Severn scoreless during the fourth quarter.  Seventh grade student Talayah Walker's drives to the baskets resulted in many three point plays as she got fouled and made her free throws. Talayah lead the team with 24 points. Haley Selmer '23 had some good rebounds below the basket to add points to the score and Hadijah Taylor '24 scored on a fast break with an assist by Talayah. The girls played with great energy and ended the day with dinner at Chipotle after the 32-13 win.
