Surveillance COVID-19 Testing for ALL ICS Students & Employees

LS Classrooms / Atrium (MS & US)
On-campus reentry COVID-19 testing is required for ALL ICS students and employees.  For the first two weeks of the school year, ICS will require a weekly COVID-19 test of all students and employees. Tests are provided by the State of Maryland through our testing partner, Capital Diagnostics, with no charge to families. Following the first two weeks, we will make an informed decision as to future testing requirements based on the testing experience and results.

If your student did not test at ICS on August 16 or 30, please click here to register your student for on-campus COVID testing by Monday, September 6.

When registering, use Office Location Code: MDHICS.  Under "Payment Information," please select the “Maryland K12 Schools” tab to ensure your test is covered by the State screening grant. You only need to register once.

  • Testing will be done in Lower School classrooms throughout the day.
  • Middle and Upper School students will be tested right after school pictures throughout the day.
  • The test is a PCR nasal swab that will be administered quickly.  The health professionals administering the tests will be masked.
  • If you will not be at school on September 7, please reach out to School Nurse Denise Malinow about submitting off-campus COVID-19 test results.
