Planning for 2020-21: Rising Junior & Senior Parent Information Session

Rising 11-12 parents are invited to join Upper School Head Matt McCormick and other members of the ICS administrative team for a conversation surrounding our planning for the 2020-21 school year.
This session will specifically address the 2020-21 scheduling initiative, and provide an overview of course selection as well as the new scheduling philosophy, structure, and timeline.
Whatever fall of 2020-21 brings, Indian Creek School will provide a safe, mission-consistent, flexible, and student-centered program. Current planning initiatives include models for smaller group instruction, a project-based learning orientation that fits in-person, blended, and virtual settings, and an enhanced focus on Social-Emotional learning with Equity and Inclusion as a priority. Plans specific to Upper School include a new scheduling structure, a robust advisory program, an enhanced human development curriculum.
