We heard you.
Last year, the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Association for Independent Maryland Schools (AIMS) surveyed parents in the Baltimore/Annapolis region. Many of you participated in that survey. The survey confirmed what many of you have said to me personally, “The cost of an independent education is expensive and is becoming increasingly challenging for families.” In addition, you and other respondents said that the cost was a significant factor in their ability to provide access to the kind of education they value for their children. We heard you and we heard our prospective families. Indian Creek is an exceptional education, so how can we make it affordable to more qualified families?
We are pleased to announce a new approach, appropriately named Flexible Tuition. This program allows us to build a financial model for each grade, and offer a defined number of seats in each grade at different tuition levels depending upon need. Flexible Tuition is transparent, defined, and responsible. We also believe this is the best tuition model for our current and prospective families.
To emphasize our commitment to make an excellent education attainable to current and prospective families, Indian Creek will not have a tuition increase for the 2018-19 school year, as we initiate this new program to our community. I invite you to learn more.
