Creek Alumni Reconnect Over Winter Break

Over the holiday break, Indian Creek School (ICS) alumni jumpstarted the holiday by reconnecting with their classmates and reminiscing about their time at the Creek. The first was the annual over-21 reunion held at The Federal House, where over 80 people enjoyed catching up with fellow Creekers and faculty. There was even a cake to celebrate Mrs. Ruth Rainey Shrum’s birthday! Please mark your calendars for this event next year: Friday, December 20, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

The next day, 28 alumni returned to ICS to play in and watch a basketball scrimmage between the Boys Varsity team and alumni from the Classes of 2009 through 2018. With such a huge turnout, the alumni separated themselves into their respective ICS teams and rotated throughout the game. Even though they got off to a bit of a slow start, the alumni ended up victorious over the Varsity team 79-78. We look forward to holding this event again next year around the same time!
