33 Indian Creek Students Named AP Scholars

Last Spring, 125 Indian Creek students took 272 Advanced Placement (AP) exams in 20 different AP courses. Of these students, 33 have been recognized as 2018 AP Scholars. Having over a quarter of students taking the AP test receive this honor is a great accomplishment, according to both state and national percentages. This number of AP Scholars is a new record for Indian Creek, we have had 25-29 students receive the award each year in the past.

This year's senior class is leading the way for Indian Creek AP success. As of their junior year, 54 members of Class of 2019 have taken 162 AP classes. Of these, 35% of students have scored 4 or 5, and 62% of Students have scored 3 and above.

Congratulations to Albany Bloor '18, who was named an AP National Scholar! This means that Albany received an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of a 4 or higher on EIGHT or more exams. This is an honor achieved by less than .05% of students in the United States.
