Troese scores winner in double OT for Indian Creek

Indian Creek senior Michael Troese scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to send Indian Creek to a 12-11 victory over Annapolis Area Christian School in the regular season finale for both teams on Tuesday. Troese finished with four goals and an assist along with 15 ground balls.

Sammy Carter '20 led the Eagles with four goals and two assists and Bryce Akers '19 had two goals and two assists. Jackson Lutz '20 had a goal and an assist, Langston Sheppard '18 had a goal and Shaun Gerety '20 had 19 saves for Indian Creek (11-5). Sheldon Millison '19 won 18 of 24 faceoffs.

The victory allowed the Eagles to finish the regular season in a three-way tie for first place in the MIAA B Conference with AACS and Beth Tfiloh. The regular-season champion and recipient of a first-round bye in the conference tournament will be determined by a coin flip on Friday.
