AP Literature Students Enjoy "Antony and Cleopatra" at Folger Theater

In what has become a yearly tradition, the senior AP Literature class made a trip to the Folger Theater in Washington, DC, to witness one of the world’s best Shakespearean troupes produce a play by the Bard.  Fresh off of dissecting the text of "Antony and Cleopatra" in class, the students witnessed a rousing two hours of theater (after visiting three of DC’s many museums) for a full day.  Having the opportunity to see the play onstage, performed by world-renowned professionals, brought their lesson to life in a meaningful way. Although a late ride home, the class was energized  stories of the day and critiques of the fabulous production.
