Alexah Mitchell '28 Studies Engineering at Virginia Tech Imagination Program
ICS eighth grader Alexah Mitchell immersed herself in STEM studies through the Virginia Tech University Pre-College Imagination program during the summer. Through this camp, Alexah had the opportunity to spend a week learning about the engineering field and experience college life by living in the VT dorms. Alexah was part of a three-student team who built a drone. She and her teammates created a video diary of their process, which won first place in the program. Congratulations to Alexah on this awesome experience!
