Julia Mead Visits "Midday Maryland" to Highlight "Baltimore Boogie" JHCC Benefit

Indian Creek senior Julia Mead recently appeared on WMAR TV's show "Midday Maryland" to highlight the "Baltimore Boogie," a dance marathon to benefit Johns Hopkins Children's Center, which is being held on Saturday, November 16, from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Julia is a member of the Teen And Children's Council at Johns Hopkins Children's Center (TACC), a group of youth ages 12-21, who have all been previous or current patients at the Children's Center. A goal of the group is to help raise money for the Children's Center. The "Baltimore Boogie Dance Marathon" is a fun outreach effort, featuring games, crafts, activities, and lots of dancing!

This is going to the third annual Baltimore Boogie. Last year's event raised over $40,000 for the hospital.
