Varsity Boys Lacrosse Earns Top Seed in MIAA Playoffs

Indian Creek's Varsity Boys Lacrosse team completed their regular season on Tuesday, May 5, with a record of 12-3 (11-2 in conference) securing the #1 seed in the upcoming MIAA playoffs. The Eagles' first place record skips them through the MIAA quarterfinals, and secured home turf for the  semifinal game next Tuesday, May 14.

Junior Sammy Carter led scoring for the Eagles (and was the third highest scorer in Anne Arundel County) with 48 goals and 31 assists. Freshman phenom Will Mercer earned the second most points for the Eagles with 38 goals and 12 assists. Our stellar defense, anchored by Aaron Colley '20, Ryan Davis '19, Michael DePaolis '20, and Ronan Fanning '19 have held opposing offenses to 7.2 goals per game. Junior goalie Shaun Gerety has saved 60% of the shots he’s faced this season.

Congratulations to our Eagles on another incredible season. We can't wait to come out and cheer for you next Tuesday in the MIAA semifinals. GO CREEK!
