VG LAX Earns Exciting Win over Beth Tfiloh 16-15

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team travelled up the beltway for a huge conference match-up on Tuesday, April 17, winning 16-15 over Beth Tfiloh. This back-and-forth game was a total team effort, with huge goal totals by senior Sarah Mathes (10) and sophomore Megan Bunker (5 goals, 2 assists). Sophomore Kalle Huff also scored for the Eagles (1 goal, 1 assist), while sophomore Cali Schwertfeger earned two assists. Freshman Goalkeeper Lila Blue held strong with nine saves. The Eagles won with 22 shots on goal, against BT's 28. Congratulations to our Eagles on this exciting win!
