Math Doctors in Action: Mastering Operations
Open to students entering Grades 4 & 5
Session 1: July 5 – July 16
Cost: $425
Created and taught by ICS teacher Stacy Kornmeyer, Math Doctors in Action targets math skills that are the foundation to higher order processes. Students will work online asynchronously, and synchronously as active participants in whole class lessons, small groups, and during individual meetings with the instructor.
Throughout the two-week course, students will work to build mastery in computations with the 4 basic operations, dive deeper into the use of fractions and decimals, and introduced to word problems.
For families looking for another course to pair with this math selection, in Session 2 (July 16-30) we offer Reading Skills & Strategies for students entering fourth grade and Writing Skills & Strategies for students entering grades 5-7.
