Indian Creek School welcomed Booth Kyle as its third Head of School in 2019.
Booth Kyle has worked in Education for 26 years, serving in a variety of roles at Independent Schools including Director of Financial Aid, Associate Director of Admission, and a Board of Trustee member. He also won a New England championship as head crew coach.
Prior to coming to ICS, Booth served as the Associate Head at Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington, a co-ed school for grades 5-12, known for its innovation, academic excellence, and commitment to a vibrant and diverse school community. At Lakeside, Booth was primarily responsible for overseeing Admission and Financial Aid, Athletics, Global Education (academic and service trips around the world), Lakeside's Educational Enrichment Program (an endowed program to provide enrichment to Seattle public school students), and Summer School Programs. He also chaired the Programs Group (responsible for auxiliary and experiential programs) and was a part of Lakeside's efforts to open The Downtown School: A Lakeside School, a micro-school committed to providing a more affordable independent school option for academically talented students in downtown Seattle.
Booth earned his B.A. in U.S. History from Connecticut College, where he was a four-year letter winner in crew, and he holds a Masters in Education, Curriculum, and Teaching from Boston University.
Booth and his wife Colleen have two children: Aidan (college freshman) and Devin '22.
