Washington Post Names Indian Creek School One of America's Most Challenging High Schools

May 19, 2017

The Washington Post’s annual rankings of how successfully schools challenge their students were announced earlier this month, naming Indian Creek School 495 out of the 2,323 schools who made the Most Challenging list in the United States.

America’s Most Challenging High Schools ranks schools through an index formula that’s a simple ratio: the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year. Indian Creek was the only Chesapeake Area Independent School to make the Washington Post’s list. Click here to view the original article in The Washington Post.
