Middle School Admission

Admission Procedures

All applicants must*:

  1. Submit a completed Admission Application, along with a $50 application fee.

  2. Participate in an Admission Testing Session, which requires a $50 testing fee. During the testing, students are given computer-based Reading Comprehension and Mathematics tests, and also are asked to respond to a short-answer essay question. The screening given to our Admission candidates is the same evaluation that is given to our current students each year. Using the same assessment for both groups allows us to look at prospective middle school students with a uniform basis for comparison, since we have students coming to us from a wide variety of learning environments.

    Early Admission Testing: Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

    Students applying for Early Admission with completed admission files by December 3, 2016 will be notified of our admission decision prior to Winter Break.

    Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

  3. Submit our confidential Teacher Recommendation Form to a current teacher.
  4. Submit a Transcript Request Form to your current school.

*Other steps, such as classroom observations or additional evaluations, may be required at the request of the admission committee.

A student may tour Indian Creek’s Middle School at any time during the admission process. Students are invited to shadow in Middle School after they have been offered placement.
